Sunday at 10.00am — 10.15am.  Quiet Prayer for the ‘Mission and Development of this Church’, held in the Chapel, every Sunday.

“Thought for the Day”  every Wednesday,   at 12 noon in the Church Lounge.

 FIFTY  YEARS  ANNIVERSARY  1968 — 2018.  This Methodist Church of St Andrew’s, was newly built and opened, on the site of three previous churches, on 6th January 1968.  Celebrations throughout 2018.     Re-union weekend 23rd — 24th  June 2018.  We would love to welcome everyone.

 Lecture at St George’s Catholic Church Hall : On Wednesday 17th January at 7.30pm, the Newman Association invites everyone to attend a Lecture on ‘ARCIC lll’, with The Most Reverend Bernard Longley, the Archbishop of Birmingham. The theme currently being worked on, will include the Church at a local and universal level and how the Church comes to discern right, ethical teaching.  Non members £3. Enquiries to Heather Down on 01905 21535. Refreshments available.

United Service in Cathedral : On Sunday 21st January at 6.30pm a United Service, for the city centre churches, will be held in the Cathedral. The Preacher will be Rev Dr Jonathan Dean, (Methodist Tutor at Queen’s Foundation).

Prayer Fellowship :  The next meeting of the Church Prayer Fellowship will take place on Tuesday 6th February 2018 starting at 10.30am in the Prayer Chapel led by Rev Dr Malcolm Braddy.   Everyone is welcome.

Cafe Church : The next meeting of Cafe Church will be at 6.30pm on Sunday 11th February 2018, led by Robert Lewin Jones on “Taxes”. 

Midweek Fellowship  :  The next meeting on February 14th will be Ash Wednesday Communion. Everyone is welcome.

Welcome Wednesdays 10.30am — 1.30pm every Wednesday, at St Andrews Methodist Church, (please see Welcome Wednesdays page). This offers an optional “Thought for the Day” at 12noon in the Lounge.    Tea/Coffee and a selection of tasty rolls, cakes and biscuits, or hot soup, available for EVERYONE!!

Saturday Morning Coffee : Between 10am–12noon  every Saturday, the church hall is open to serve tea, coffee, orange juice and delicious home made cake, to all our visitors and friends.  Prices extremely reasonable! Everyone invited to call in!
